  1. What are the requirements for Police Clearance?
    Two (2) Valid Government IDs: These must be original and unexpired (e.g., PhilID, Passport, Driver’s License, SSS/GSIS ID, or PRC ID).
    NPCS Reference Number: Generated after your online registration.
    Proof of Payment: An electronic receipt or screenshot of your successful transaction.
    Barangay Certificate: Only required for First-Time Job Seekers (under the First-Time Job Seekers Assistance Act) to waive the base fee.

  4. How much is the fee?
    Base Fee: ₱150.00
    Convenience Fee: Usually ranges from ₱10.00 to ₱30.00 depending on the payment channel.
    Total Estimated Cost: Around ₱160.00 to ₱180.00.
    Note: First-time job seekers can get the clearance for free, provided they present a valid Barangay Certificate.
  5. How do I pay?
    Payment is made through the LandBank ePayment Portal. Popular options include:
    E-Wallets: GCash, Maya, or GrabPay.
    Over-the-Counter: 7-Eleven (CLiQQ), Bayad Center, or partner banks.
    Online Banking: LandBank iAccess or BancNet.
  6. How long is the validity?
    A National Police Clearance is typically valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance. Some institutions may accept it for up to 12 months, but it is best to check the specific requirements of your employer or the agency requesting it.
  7. What is a “Hit” in my record?
    A “Hit” occurs when the system finds a name-match in the PNP criminal database.
    No Hit: Your clearance can be released within 15–30 minutes after your biometrics capture.
    With Hit: You will undergo a verification process. This typically takes 1 to 4 business days as a verification officer manually reviews the records to confirm if the “hit” actually belongs to you or a namesake.
