About Barangay Bel-Air

Barangay Bel-Air is an affluent enclave in the heart of Makati’s Central Business District which was established early in 1950’s. It has a total land area of 1,712,100 square meters and is the third largest among the posh villages comprising Cluster 1 or the Central Cluster. Built in four (4) phases – Bel-Air I to IV, the barangay now includes Ayala North, Buendia Avenue Extension, the Ayala Triangle, and the entire Salcedo Village. The predominant land use of this tobacco pipe shaped barangay is both residential and commercial. The barangay boasts of its skyscraping buildings and establishments and offers wide arrays of choices for bed, dine and businesses.

Organizations

BAVA

The subdivision known as Bel-Air Village was developed by Ayala Development Corporation and was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1957. With a total land area of 787,234 square meters, it has four phases consisting of 950 lots, 32 streets and two well-developed parks, each with a basketball court.

MACEA

The Makati Commercial Estate Association, founded in 1963, is a civic body whose membership is composed of property owners, manufacturers, banks, professional organizations, corporations, advertising agencies, real estate firms, insurance companies, industrialists. The Association is purely civic takes no part in politics and operates on a non-profit basis.

FORA

FORA was registered on April 10, 1996, at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a non-stock, non-profit organization.

FORA was formed mainly for the purpose of acting as representative and consultative body of its members on matters of concern such as zoning, urban planning and land use, security, peace and order, waste management, and economic upliftment of member and neighboring communities.

FORA support its member-associations who may have grievances with government agencies and other organizations, as it serves to safeguard and protect the interests of its member-associations and its residents, as well.

WOBA

A community-based organization based in Bel-Air Village, Makati, Philippines. It is typically known for its efforts in empowering women and fostering social connections through various programs, events, and community initiatives. The organization may offer a platform for women in the area to support each other, address common challenges, and promote positive change in both their personal lives and the broader community.
